About Us
MDA (Cyprus) LLC was founded in 1969 and has expanded steadily ever since, being now, the largest firm of Chartered Quantity Surveyors on the island employing more than 40 members of staff.
Soon after establishment, we MDA involved with a number of prestigious projects such as Golden Sands Hotel in Famagusta. That project was of fundamental importance to the newly established firm, The project, was controlled by a consortium of international consultants hence, we had the opportunity to rapidly acquaint with the island's construction industry and Government procedures, experience which proved invaluable on subsequent projects.
The period after the Turkish invasion was very difficult for MDA Cyprus. Even though the future looked bleak, the office remained in operation even after the Turkish invasion until the time when conditions improved.
In the years that followed, the building sector in Cyprus showed rapid rates of growth in a drive to replace lost facilities and to meet the growing needs of the tourism industry. MDA Cyprus, which lists some of the most important projects in its portfolio, and relying on the professionalism of its personnel offering all-round service to owners and architects at all stages of the project, saw its efforts to promote the profession bear fruit.
In the second half of 1999 the building sector started to show gradual improvement. Due to its size, experience, professionalism and good name MDA (Cyprus) Ltd was assigned a number of very important projects which kept it on the top of the professional ladder.
